Delegates head to Juliette Low Seminar at Our Cabaña
9 November 2012
A total of 36 young women from all regions are attending this event in the inspirational surroundings of Cuernavaca in Mexico.
Travel arrangements have certainly been a challenge for some but their journey starts over the weekend to engage in an action packed seminar around the theme of The Spirit of Women Leading.
The program will include talks from women leaders about their own leadership journeys and takes a holistic look at women’s leadership, moving from a personal perspective through to female leadership to leadership in WAGGGS and beyond. It will explore our role as leaders and how this can grow and change at different stages of our lives: the challenges, questions and opportunities that leadership presents for us and how we can use it to become more balanced, resilient and inspiring individuals. Delegates will also look at new themes such as making empowering choices in our work and personal lives as leaders, empowering others to do the same and women as entrepreneurs; creating new ventures and opportunities in our communities.
At least two Juliette Low Seminars are offered in each triennium and aim to develop the leadership qualities in young women in WAGGGS.
