16 Days of Activism to Against Gender Violence
Recently WAGGGS participated in the 16 days campaign to end gender based violence. WAGGGS called this ’16 days to make girls heard’. Girl Guides and Girl Scouts from around the world took action. Read more about what they did here and download our campaign activities sheet here.
International Day of the Girl!
The Korean Girl Guiding association have been campaigning for a national Girls' Day. Read about their efforts here
Plan International lead the campaign for an International Day of the Girl. WAGGGS supported and promoted this campaign. In December 2011, the UN recognised 11 October as the International Day of the Girl. Read more about this campaign here.
