Day 1 Our Cabaña

Our Cabaña was already full of life before the break of dawn ready to kick off the day.
The morning started with the official opening ceremony of the YWWF 2011. Everybody was wearing their national uniform, so colorful and special. It was a very unique experience knowing that the other three World Centres were also doing the same thing.
As we sang the World Song, passing the light and sharing our dreams of the future we all got the feeling of being a part of a worldwide network of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting.
The rest of the day we learned about the history of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting and leadership skills. Furthermore we got to know each other through the patrol system.
Before we went to bed, we had a lovely Salsa time.
